i don't go to cons, either. all the ones i've heard of are f-ing expensive. i mean, i live in san jose, if i had a deep burning desire to see jhonen, i could just camp outside of slavelabor, heh.

Cons can be expensive. The first time I went to WonderCon in Oakland there was a scalper who sold me an admission ticket for $10. I've only been to APE once and that was reasonably priced. $10 or $15 for the day. I've been to WonderCon a couple times since and enjoyed it, but yeah, sometimes I think it's too much money to go to what really amounts to a flea market for comic books.
